Burton beat Lebanon 33-7 and then beat William Campbell 41-14 in 2 qts.

Looks like Burton is the real deal again this year .. unless both Lebanon and William Campbell were just having bad nights or didn't have their starters in, those are some VERY impressive scores.

    Re: Jamboree at Burton

Oh they both had their starters in. Burton only played the starters for 1 qt vs Lebanon but played the whole 2 qts against William Campbell. They were clicking tonight. I would say Ethan Stewart had close to 150 or more yards rushing against WC. Burton looked very, very sharp tonight. Even had 2 long TD's called back against Lebanon. William Campbell looked identical to PV. Just spread 4 wide and threw short passes.

I will have to say that Strouth looked like a MAN against WC as well. He had a long 70+yard run for their first score and then laid the wood to one of their receivers on the sideline.

It will be a long trip home to Naruna for the Generals of William Campbell. I have to honestly say I was not expecting what I saw tonight. Burton came out fired up against WC.

Did Lebanon and WC look that bad? Or did Burton just look that good? That's a long way to travel for a 2 quarter tail kickin...lol

    Re: Jamboree at Burton

I look forward to Burton diving deep into the playoffs again this year. I hope they make it to state and win it all. They deserve it after how badly they were ripped off last year.

I also hope that if they do make it to state, they give whoever they're up against one of the worst a** whippings ever seen in a state title game. I'm afraid even that wouldn't do justice for last year, though.
